The Protection of Personal Information Act (Act 4 of 2013) (POPI Act)

Dear Member/Client

From 1 July 2021 the POPI Act will finally take effect. The Hockey Company Tshwane receives, maintains and retains information and records of members. This includes personal information of members and we are therefore required to obtain your consent, and if the member is a minor the consent of their parent/guardian, to maintain and use their information for Franchise and Hockey activities. With your consent the use will include photos supplied by you and those taken at events for use by the club on its website, communication and promotional material.

Your consent may be revoked or with drawn at any time by due notice to the Information Officer of the Club.
